GoM Fiber System
During 2007 and 2008, BP constructed the longest oil & gas dedicated fiber optic cable system with more branching units than any system in the world. The system links seven of BP’s platforms with the BP enterprise via cable landings in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and Freeport, Texas.
